How quickly will WWE return to PPV? What does it mean for UFC?

The WWE is struggling to deal with the fallout from angry stockholders about disappointing numbers from their new TV deal with NBC Universal & WWE Network subscriptions. How soon will WWE return to traditional PPV?

WWE Network has nearly 700,000 enrolled. So, PPV as we used to know it is dead… right?
