Blockbuster ratings for Koki Kameda title win over Daisuke Naito

Video Research Ltd. in Japan is reporting that the WBC Flyweight title fight (boxing) drew an estimated 43.1% rating in the Kanto (Tokyo) region on Tokyo Broadcasting System.

Good fight and a great, measured performance by Koki who seems to have finally matured, at least in the ring.
The monster rating is no surprise, he was pulling in incredible numbers three years ago and anything short of ‘blockbuster’ was impossible when he faced Naito who was the champ and had also beaten Koki’s younger brother.
This is bad for the sport.
