sorry but… WTF?!!!!
Copy-paste from the last post:
The last time the french-canadian media reported on Gatti, he was facing assault charge by his “ex”.
And now we are hearing that it was his wife that found him dead…
She must be one of the suspect.
The sad thing about Gatti, it’s that since he left Quebec, the quebec-based media never really talk about him even know Montreal is a good fight town. They only started covered him after his second bout with Ward. Guys like Eric Lucas, Stephane Ouellet et the Hilton Brothers 10 times more know than Gatti.
It looks to be someone brained him to death. Possibly a break in? It wasn’t a robbery because there was nothing said about anything stolen. I would love for more information to be released.
I would have never imagined that the next fighter turning up dead would be Gatti.
Damn. Another one of the favourites I loved to watch is dead. RIP
The blogs are ablaze with alternate theories:
1. Gatti was facing the assault charge against his ex
2. Gatti was about to testify in a trial against the NY State Athletic Commission
This is horrible. Gatti was a warrior who always guaranteed an entertaining war in the ring. His murder is heartbreaking news.
1969: The Summer of Love
2009: The Summer of Death
This year sucks.
Arguello and Gatti were two fighters who were always extremely exciting to watch.
Arguello was possibly the best junior lightweight of all time.
From BadLeftHook.com:
Update by SC (9:13 PM ET): Gatti’s wife, Amanda Rodrigues, is a suspect in what now appears to be Gatti’s murder. She is innocent until proven guilty, but police said her testimony had inconsistencies.
Sorry to keep adding posts, Zach.
