Joe Rogan on Fallon Fox: “You can’t fight chicks, get the fuck out of here”

By Zach Arnold | March 15, 2013

Print Friendly and PDF

“She calls herself a woman but… I tend to disagree. And, uh, she, um… she used to be a man but now she has had, she’s a transgender which is (the) official term that means you’ve gone through it, right? And she wants to be able to fight women in MMA. I say no fucking way. I say if you had a dick at one point in time, you also have all the bone structure that comes with having a dick. You have bigger hands, you have bigger shoulder joints. You’re a fucking man. That’s a man, OK? You can’t have… that’s… I don’t care if you don’t have a dick any more…”

“You can’t fight women. That’s fucking crazy. I don’t know why she thinks that she’s going to be able to do that. If you want to be a woman in the bedroom and you know you want to play house and all of that other shit and you feel like you have, your body is really a woman’s body trapped inside a man’s frame and so you got a operation, that’s all good in the hood. But you can’t fight chicks. Get the fuck out of here. You’re out of your mind. You need to fight men, you know? Period. You need to fight men your size because you’re a man. You’re a man without a dick.”

“I’m looking at a man with a dress, OK? And you don’t… you can act as a woman, I will call you a ‘her,’ I will, uh, call you ma’am. I’ll be respectful but you can’t fight women when you have a man’s frame. PERIOD. Women aren’t that wide, that generates to increased punching power. Women don’t have that sort of muscle structure. I don’t know what you’re doing, I don’t know, you mean obviously if you’re transoperational it means you removed your testicles so your body’s not producing testosterone any more. I don’t know if you’re supplementing testosterone. If your body’s not producing testosterone, why are your arms so big? What’s going on here? There’s a lot of shit going on there and you can’t fight women. No fucking way.”

“She’s won two fights by brutal knockout. So, she’s fighting women. … There’s a variety of small companies that, um, that are willing to allow a person like this to fight. I say it’s fucked up. You can’t fight women! You can’t. And just to look at her record, she’s crushed two women inside the first round. I mean, she’s crushing these girls…”

“Look, she’s huge! She’s not just huge, she’s got a fucking man’s face. I mean, you can wear all the lipstick you want. You want to be a woman and you want to take female hormones, you want to get a boob job, that’s all fine. I support your life to live, your right to live as a woman.”

“Fight guys, yes. She has to fight guys. First of all, she’s not really a she. She’s a transgender, post-op person. The operation doesn’t shave down your bone density. It doesn’t change. You look at a man’s hands and you look at a women’s hands and they’re built different. They’re just thicker, they’re stronger, your wrists are thicker, your elbows are thicker, your joints are thicker. Just the mechanical function of punching, a man can do it much harder than a woman can, period.”

“I support, 100%, anyone’s right to be transgender. This is not where it lies with me, like I’m not a prejudiced person. I don’t know what you feel in your body. If you really are a woman trapped in a man’s body, I support your right to do whatever you want to do. Go for it. If that’s what makes you happy, I would not try to stop that at all and I support it 100%. The real issue comes with violent competition with women and the reality of the physical structure of your body. The reality of the physical structure is not fair. You can’t say that a 145 pound woman and a 145 pound man are even. That’s like saying, you know, a 30-pound poodle and a 30-pound Pitbull are just two dogs — because they’re not. One of them has distributed its mass in quite a different way. It’s built for quite a different purpose and men are built for smashing shit. Women are built for getting held down by the stronger male monkey and, you know, women are built for carrying babies and doing work and whatever other non-hyperexplosive physical things you would want to do with your body. But they’re not built for hyperexplosive physical violence, they’re just not. They have more dainty frames, their hands are smaller. And even if they are big, they’re not big like a big man is. It’s not fair. I’m not trying to discriminate against women in any way, shape, or form and I’m a big supporter of women’s fighting. I loved watching that Ronda Rousey/Liz Carmouche fight. But those are actual women. Those are actual women. And as strong as Ronda Rousey looks, she’s still looks to me like a pretty girl. She’s a beautiful girl who happens to be strong. She’s a girl! [Fallon Fox] is not a girl, OK? This is a transgernder woman. It’s a totally different specification.”

“How about some crazy dude who wants to beat the fuck out of chicks, so he gets his dick chopped off? I mean, that’s not outside the realm of possibility. There’s a lot of suicidal fucks out there. There’s a lot of people that are like on the edge anyway. Like getting your dick chopped off, you know you’re going to pay attention to me? OK, I’ll chop my dick off, I’ll be a girl for a while. There’s people out there that are fucking crazy and you can’t let them fight girls. You just can’t. So, if this chick fights on Indian land I guess they could do whatever you want. I don’t see the Nevada State Athletic Commission allowing a woman to fight a man, though. … I don’t agree with the (Florida) athletic commission letting this happen. I don’t know. I don’t understand it. I don’t know why anybody would ever allow it. When it comes to competitive athletics, that’s where you got to draw the line.”

  1. RST says:

I’m not entirely sure why a dude would want to become a chick,
and then do what dudes do

    (Sans being Brazilian of course)

The new normal goes to far sometimes

  2. Megatherium says:

I don’t know man. It seems like this guy went to an awful lot of trouble just to gain the right to beat up women.

Not that he isn’t able to of course.

  3. 45 Huddle says:

I agree with Joe Rogan here 100%.

I am all for Transgender’s rights… If you want to get the surgery… You are crazy but good for you. And these individuals shouldn’t be discriminated against.

But in terms of sporting events…. Rogan is right. It is an unfair advantage. She was born differently then women. And that makes a huge difference when competing.

Sorry, but if you want to chop your c#ck off…. It does close a door or two…. And this is one of them….

  4. canadiansteel says:

Finally someone came out and said it.

  5. Beau Dure says:

I might have agreed with Joe until reading a lot more on the topic in the past couple of weeks. The bones might not change much, but the muscles do. A couple of years have to pass for the body to change, but it does.

The IOC has done a bit more research than the Nevada commission, and they’re allowing transgender athletes to compete, albeit with a lot of testing.

It’s certainly more fair than what the Soviet bloc did for years — doping women to the point that they essentially became men.

It’s not an easy ethical question. The IOC faces a lot of pressure over its current rules — some people say it’s unfair to test transgender athletes’ testosterone levels. I don’t blame Florida for taking its time. But it’s much more complex than Joe is making it out to be here.

    • RST says:

Thats technically fooling around with the nature of things where physical harm on your opponent is the issue

I’m no rocket doctor but this seems much worse then Steroids or TRT

The level of selfishly wanting it both ways seems to be astronomical here

The new normal is some kind of maniac selfish

  6. 45 Huddle says:

What this topic does do is bring up the ridiculousness of female sports in general.

All you hear from women is how they want to be equal. They want equal rights. They want equal pay. They want to be treated EXACTLY like a man. Even in areas of life where men are better suited to do the job…. They want EQUALITY! (And there are some jobs that women are more suited for as well….)

Well…. Until it comes to thing that don’t favor them…. Like sports. Then they want their own sports league because they are biologically not equal to men.

Females can’t have it both ways. They can’t ask for universal equality on every level…. but when it doesn’t favor them…. They want their own gender specific sports league.

There is a reason why it is called the NBA vs. the WNBA…. A reason why there is a UFC Bantamweight Championship vs. an UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. There is a league/division with the best in the world…. And then there a separate version that discriminates against 50% of the worlds population….

Personally, I prefer the version that is open to 100% of the athletes… That is true equality…

    • Chuck says:

Women asked for their own sports leagues? I sincerely doubt that much. Look at women’s wrestlers. They wrestle men, because there is no women’s wrestling in high school. When I wrestle din high school I may have seen maybe three girl wrestlers, but still. There is no women-only cheer-leading squads by design (notice I say BY DESIGN). Men are aloud to cheer-lead right along with girls (in difference to Title IX, I totally think cheer-leading is an athletic endeavor).

Women aren’t looking for their own sports leagues, that is silly. They were already created…BY MEN for the most part.

      • 45 Huddle says:

If women aren’t looking for their own sports leagues, then why do we have the WPGA, WNBA, Women’s Tennis, WMMA, Women’s Sports int he Olympics.

Of course they want their own leagues. It is why they pushed for Title IX…. So they can have even more of their own sports.

Because without their own leagues, they don’t have a place to compete…

        • 45 Huddle says:

And when I say they don’t have a place to compete… I mean that they can’t compete at the level of men. No woman in the WNBA can make an NBA squad right now…. That sort of thing.

    • RST says:

“the ridiculousness of female sports in general.”

      Hehe

      +1

    • Jay B. says:

Give you that much huddle, right about womens basketball. Women get upset because fans (mainly males) complain about how there is nothing exciting about womens basketball, consist of layups and “fundamentals”, There is a clear cut seperation in ability when it comes to womens sports versus male sports.

Now we are going to have some dumbass on here say it isnt true or someone is being ignorant but its the truth.

I dont agree with the way Rogan put it, but she should not be allowed a license.

    • Chi says:

Pro leagues for women exist so that the best female athletes in the world can compete against one another. 45 Huddle, stop being ignorant with your comments. No amateur or professional female athlete believes that physically, they can match their respective male peers. However, female athletes should 100% be able to compete on the highest athletic stages possible. Female athletes are not inferior to male athletes nor are females in the work force. Yes males and females compete separately, but that’s based on common sense. Pro female athletes are well respected. Especially by Pro male athletes. You see it in the athletes villages at any international event (Pan An Games, World’s, Olympics, etc), and it’s quite frankly, pathetic when “men” like you, feel the need to put down or minimize the validity of women’s professional sports, and equality in general. I’ve never met a professional male athlete who would support your ignorant position.

Being treated exactly like a man, and wanting equality are not the same thing. Give your head a shake and stop embarrassing the real men out there.

      • 45 Huddle says:

        Chi,

There is nothing ignorant about my comments. It is just a vast difference of opinion.

What about basketball players under 6 feet tall? Should they be given a league of their own? They are not inferior athletes. There only fault is their genetics and the way they were born…. Just like women.

Right now the NBA has only 2 players under 6 feet tall. Isaiah Thomas & Nate Robinson…. And Thomas is in his first year in the league. And both make under the league average.

Creating leagues where only a fragment of the population is eligible to play in is laughable.

“Female athletes are not inferior to male athletes”

Yes they are. Which is why they need their own sports league. Just like guys under 6 feet tall are INFERIOR basketball players to NBA players.

The men’s world records in sports that are easily measured…. Females are inferior in every aspect. To deny this makes you the ignorant one.

        • Jay B says:

lol By the way Huddle, there is a league where they have a height limit, its called the PBA (phillipines Basketball Association)

Yeah back to female and male then, when I met Marcelo Balboa and Earnie Stewart in the Netherlands while they were visiting our airfield (Dutch base with US troops on it). We talked about records that women held for Caps (apperances) in National Soccer team, they said and I quote “Nobody gives a crap about womens league or records they set on national stage because nobody pays to watch them. Their records mean nothing”

I was kinda shocked these two said it and agreed in unison. But nobody ever mentions streaks, records or feats that a woman has accomplished. Nobody cared about Mia St. John being 37-0 or Ali being undefeated. Or if a woman has a 40-0 record in MMA. They know the competition level is low and the sport/league is still young.

    • Beau Dure says:

“Personally, I prefer the version that is open to 100% of the athletes… That is true equality…”

So you’d want to do away with weight classes in MMA?

  7. Beau Dure says:

If you want a more reasoned skeptical take on Fox, here it is, from Rosi Sexton:

    http://rosisexton.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/my-take-on-the-fallon-fox-controversy/

For 45 Huddle — well, yeah, we need separate divisions for each gender. Mostly because women are tougher than men.

    • 45 Huddle says:

If in “tougher” you mean inferior… Then you would be correct when it concerns sports.

Ronda Rousey is a phenom among her fellow female athletes. And she wouldn’t even be in the Top 30 in the men’s division.

Leonard Garcia is tougher then Jose Aldo…. Doesn’t make him better.

      • Chuck says:

“Ronda Rousey is a phenom among her fellow female athletes. And she wouldn’t even be in the Top 30 in the men’s division.”

I think she could armlock the fuck out of most guys. In all honesty I think she could be about top 15 amongst the men in Bantamweight. As long as she doesn’t try to strike with any of the men…

        • 45 Huddle says:

You really think that armbar stuff would work against the men? She doesn’t have the muscle mass to pull it off…. Most likely doesn’t have the muscle mass to even get into that position. The technique she uses to take the females down to the mat does not work in the men’s division. You just don’t see it executed like that because the men are too strong to have it happen to them.

And then there is…. How many fights in the UFC are finished with the armbar?

          http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2012/7/17/3163315/ufc-2012-fight-statistics-ufc-stats

Out of 200 fights in this sample size…. 46 ended in submission. That is below 25%. And of the 200 fights…. ONLY FIVE…. Yes, that is correct…. FIVE fights ended in armbar….. 2.5% of all fights. Armbars are rare in the UFC when men compete.

The reality is that she wouldn’t even be able to take it to the ground against the vast majority of the guys and would get KO’d. Her striking is not good. She keeps her heard straight up and flings her body towards her opponents in order to get a clinch. And even once on the ground (during those rare occasions) she wouldn’t be able to pull off all of the moves she does against the other women.

          Welcome to the real world….

      • edub says:

I’m not sure she’d be in the top 100.

    • RST says:

Tougher at getting themselves in trouble and calling the police

      • Beau Dure says:

Wow, Zach — you’ve attracted some real Neanderthals here.

Watch a childbirth sometime and tell me what you think.

Ed. — Don’t ask me how it got to this point. I always thought of myself as someone who wrote high-level pieces that would attract a crowd that likes that kind of style. You just never know.

  8. 45 Huddle says:

What it comes down to is this….

The farther you get from 100% participation opportunity, the less a championship means.

A Female Only Division means less then an Open-Gender Division because it lets in only half of the participants.

The Heavyweight Championship is more prestigious then the Flyweight Championship because its in a greater number of fighters. I know in MMA they have put a minimum weight limit for each division, but that is just to ensure fighter safety. Take those minimums away and a Heavyweight beats a Flyweight 100 out of 100 times.

The most meaningful UFC Title is the UFC Heavyweight Championship. It allows for the greatest number of participants. The least meaningful title is the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. It allows for the fewest number of potential participants.

It would be no different then if the NBA had a league for players under 6 Feet Tall. Sounds stupid right? But somehow we have no problem with weight limits in fighting and gender specific leagues. It’s all the same stuff….

  9. Jonathan says:

I agree with Joe Rogan & 45 Huddle here 100%.

  10. Jason Harris says:

Zach, as someone who is vehemently against increased testosterone levels via TRT, you take a decidedly more neutral tone in this case. Allowing someone born a man to fight women isn’t a “hall pass”? Based on your historical stances I’d assume you would be as vehemently against this as you are against the other PEDs you crusade against.

Ed. — You must have missed Gaijin going after me in the comments section on the Florida commission post about this matter.

  11. Zheroen says:

LOL, I love witnessing 45 Huddle’s meltdown when it comes to broadcasting his views on women in this forum.

    • 45 Huddle says:

Where is the meltdown? Multiple people have agreed with my point of view here.

I am for equal rights. I am not for the over the top feminism that is shoved down societies throat that doesn’t jive with the reality of life.

In this specific case…. That female and male sports are said to be equal. When in reality they are not….

  12. darkdrift says:

This entire argument is sickening. Not a GD person would care about Fallon Fox is she were losing. Ignorant opinions that are not based in medical science have no place in this, especially when her opponents have spoken out in support and have said they would fight her again. I’m a woman who is 6’5″ with a fighting weight of about 250lbs. Who, precisely, am I to fight? I have only ever sparred or fought with men and not a damn one of them asked my genetic makeup beforehand. As for the argument that women aren’t as broad and hve smaller hands, speak for your fucking self, Joe Rogan. Let Fallon Fox fight whomever she wants and whomever wants to fight her.

And before anyone asks a stupid fucking question, yes, I am a biological woman, currently on hiatus from training because I’m pregnant with my fourth child.

    • Bryan says:

Fight other women. Gabi Garcia does it and sure it sucks for them but too bad.

    • Jay B. says:

Jesus….four kids. Anyways, people would care if she was losing. Still would be in the media and still would be noted because fallon is the first of any transgendered fighting in MMA. You cant even use that “nobody would care” card. You soft spar with men, its not like you are going all out, big difference.

As I said, Joe rogan comments were unecessary. But there has to be a line drawned with Fallon Fox and nature of what she is doing. Along with lying on her application, she missed putting information down just so she could fight in Florida.

    • greg says:

      you’re a biological idiot!

  13. Megatherium says:

There needs to be a separate division for trannies; it’s the only solution to this.

  14. Bryan says:

Just bring back Rio Heroes. They’ll know what to do.

  15. Robyn says:

You may not like the way Rogan verbalized his opinion but how can you sugar coat something like that. I 100% stand behind Rogan in what he feels and believes. This person should not be permitted to fight other women. As much as Fallon wants to be a “Woman” Fallon will never truly be a woman. You can take the white off of rice and try to present it as……lets say Barley, but it won’t make it anything other than what it is…….. white rice.

  16. Robyn says:

Megatherium, that was a post that I’ll have to keep in my head. Made me laugh….. loved the solution

  17. Robyn says:

darkdrift, c’mon.. “medical science”?? Next we’ll be throwing in religion and who came first, Adam or Eve. Or maybe we’ll then discuss Darwinism.

  18. SoyBoySigh says:

I think if people are really all that concerned about guys beating up chicks, then they should be out there promoting an end to domestic violence.

As for the right to compete as transgendered, I would wonder whether there IS some barrier as applies to people who were on steroids and are no longer on them – I’ve often thought that the cut off date or statute of limitations or whatever is too short for that kind of thing. Perhaps there’s also some benefit in finding new classifications or specifications for making up fighting classes, rather than just a weight basis.

The major issue this all raises, and we can thank Andy Kaufman for being a pioneer in this area – is WHY can’t men and women fight? Hitting a woman in anger is wrong. But hitting a man in anger is wrong too. And sure as shit, they’ve been getting away with it for too long ha ha – women hitting men is just plain bullshit too. But sport is different. You can’t equate fighting sports with fighting, no matter how the juvenile inside your mind wants it to be that way, fighting sports is SPORT – period. It may have more and better carry over into self-defense and offensive martial tactics than other sports … though the biathlon with the ski sniping has got to be the deadliest – I was gonna say javelin but hey this is the new millennium and when it comes to killing heck even the rifle bears something of the old order about it, like a sword it’s been relegated to a “side arm” and let’s face it in a war the best physical maneuver you can do is the “DUCK AND COVER” ha ha – and if people really want to effect the kinds of changes that war was once intended to do well then they can get up off their asses and VOTE … my point being, fighting sports are not about fighting – heck you wanna go around today pushing your weight around you’d better watch out for the women with the small frame ’cause those chicks have got a revolver in their purse! Ha ha.

And while we’re talking sexual politics and I’ve got the B word on the top of my tongue but have bit it off, let’s talk about the double standard where you can’t say B and you especially can’t say “C” let’s talk about the double standard where so many women are out there saying “He’s a PRICK” or “What a DICK” PLEASE: If you wanna help the situation, the next time a woman uses language like that in your presence, tell her “Excuse me but that’s very offensive to my person. The proper word is PENIS and it’s a part of a man’s anatomy. It’s not for WOMEN to decide to use derogatory terms for it, any more than it is women’s right to decide whether it’s better for a man’s penis to be MUTILLATED by the removal of his fore-skin. That’s barbaric. (Here’s where you decide whether to play up the benefit of your fore-skin or to play the pity card and try to get her to help you past the loss of your fore-skin by convincing you that your penis is the most beautiful penis she’s ever had in her mouth … or rather, the decision HAS already been made for you nevertheless I only hope that you can smell the opportunity) Tell her that men are taking back the language of their own anatomy. Tell her you love your penis and your penis is beautiful. Or whatever else you want – but above all tell her that her language offends your sense of propriety and that her chauvinistic barbaric fore-skin chopping Matriarchy won’t be tolerated any longer. If for no other reason but that you won’t have to feel like such an asshole for saying B and C etc.

And you know, if that didn’t go over too well, then you’ll be right on topic with the women hitting men I talking about right before the battle of semantics began. The thing about keeping up with all of the old arguments, about frame size and proportion etc – it IS a very good argument. But they’re also generalizations, as there are men and women in ALL shapes and sizes. To raise up some kind of standard as to proportion of frame geometry and height etc, to hold that stuff out as the last remaining argument for keeping transgendered people out of certain sports, well it seems like we’re wandering into territory that the eugenicists did so many years ago.

Of course, the concept of “race” as it is known in America is a complete fallacy. Whether you’re looking at the continent of Asia or Africa or Europe, North/South America what have you – each has regional ethnicities with as much difference within that geographic limitation (prior to the age of sail) as much as between each group over all just as is the case with gender: there are more differences within one gender than there are between the genders themselves. Also it’s interesting to note the sheer demographic statistical preponderance of people whom are classed as, or self-identified as “Inter-sexed” – there existed a far more complex non-binary gender quandary BEFORE the advent of sex-reassignment surgery. Imagine if you will, your gender being decided by doctors based on your penis being smaller than the standard as defined by a chart on the wall – at which point they CUT OFF the offending member. People in such circumstances may or may not in later life define themselves as trans-gendered or trans-gender or “Trans”. Many people use the term “Queer” rather loosely, to lump together … all of the freaks baby ’cause when the shit hits the fan we’ve got nobody else … okay I use “we” rather loosely ’cause I’m as straight of a white male as the disaffected will ever literally shake a stick at … but you get my point. There ARE enough people out there to warrant a whole other category of sport competition. It’s just that they’d all rather play EARTH BALL or HAKI-SACK ha ha. It would be great for people to be able to compete in such a way, but heck it’s already difficult enough for people outside the norm to find somebody to have a cup of coffee with, let alone sex. Actually, I think it’s the Vanilla types who are in the minority – if you take into account all of the masochists and sadists out there people who wanna MAKE LOVE are in the minority when everybody else just wants to fuck. But I digress.

A very good point made by many folks who come off as negative toward the trans-gender competitors here, is something which should be more contentious with the trans community as a whole. And I know about this stuff because my first “wife” was Bi well to be more specific I got to be ridden like a see-saw many a time … anyway SHE volunteered at the local gay/bi/lesbian/trans/queer community services help-line but she was too busy hitting on bi-curious teenaged girls so that I had to answer the ‘phones etc so I read the manual ha ha – but yeah it’s a FACT that very few self-identified trans people aren’t happy with the surgery and many opt out of the “bottom” surgery because its so ineffective functionally speaking – as the Lady Boy said to Carl Pilkington “Lub me lub my dik.” Hear here, me brudda -I feel the same way about MINE. ‘Cause my own personaly carpet munching to having my pole smoked ratio is like a hundred thousand to one. I’ve dated a lot of selfish women. And it’s not like you’ve gotta twist my arm if you know what I mean. But yeah, not a lot of people are very happy with what’s on offer for Trans surgery, whether it be top surgery or bottom, M2F or F2M I’ve heard a lot of complaints on both sides of the fence – that is, from both groups of people who thought the grass was greener on the other side of the fence. It’s a very confusing thing for people, and I SURE don’t wanna dis people’s own authentic experience – but I love “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” for it’s final “love your SELF” or “to thine own self be true” moral. That said, the surgery involved in changing gender has little to do with lopping off one’s dick. Though, I am sure that from country to country, state to state, as with young Hansel/Hedwig’s experience there probably ARE places where they check your pants for contraband, rather than getting your doctor to sign off on it. Truly, there ARE people willing to fake a transgender condition – my first “wife”‘s uncle dressed as a woman for two years after doctors refused to cut it off per his original request. He’d been horribly sexually abused along with his entire family, by his father – and he was willing to go to that length to ensure that he never became an abuser himself. I think we should all respect him for his convictions, that no matter the personal sacrifice he would prevent further harm to children. The guy should get a fucking medal. And counselling. And then he should get his dick back. Because a simple investigation of his medical files would have gotten to the root of his motives. Sad. Really though, they offer hair transplantation or electrolysis. Chin and cheek implants. Boob implants or mastectomy. Hysterectomy or castration. Plus reconstructive plastic surgery to create a vagina or penis from tissues dis-similar to those structures. En-nerveation of tissues MIGHT come later on. But for all intents and purposes, should a “Man” or a “Woman” – any PERSON – suffer injury to said anatomy including loss of such parts, we’ll say “You’re still a man” or “You’re still all woman” etc. It’s a lot more common than you’d think. Probably even more common than the one in one thousand inter-sexed people.

So for all intents and purposes all of these other treatments are there to support the psychological treatment to one’s identity. And I might add, this also has implications for us “Normal” folk as well. Truly, what is it that defines what it is to be a man but society and culture? I mean, you’ve got natural impulses. But society will tell you which of them you should curtail and which you should embolden. This is true of all of us whether we’re aware of it or not. If the division of fighting sports into male and female categories of competition was intended to reduce violence against women in society at large I’d say that it’s failed miserably, and perhaps it would help to try another approach. After all, my ex “wives” and I certainly dealt with a lot of squabbles by getting out the Playstation and getting our “TEKKEN” on. I even played it with my young step-daughter. And yeah, you’d better believe I taught her to fight. And how. If she wants to compete against boys, you’d better believe I’ll be right up front yelling about how to make that happen. Delicate male egos be damned. I’ve already doomed those little shits with the dating advice I’ve given to her and all of her little friends. As a young man I cursed fathers like me – but then, I doubt there ever were any.

  19. […] Rogan had plenty of harsh words about Fox, which you can read below thanks to this very detailed transcript via Fight Opinion: […]

  20. […] And it is exactly that hormone that led the UFC into what is, in my opinion, it’s most bigoted and unfortunate moment since Dana White decided to announce women were not welcome in the UFC to TMZ. And this was much worse. […]

  22. April says:

The overwhelming majority of you people are so profoundly ignorant on this subject that it makes my head spin.
You so have no idea what you are talking about. And rogan needs his skull opened, preferably with a hammer. He’s a bigoted prick.
Fox’s body is not significantly different than any ciswoman. (That means people born XX XX and who identify as women for those that don’t know.) In the case of high intensity sports like this, it’s comparable. Her testosterone even before surgery if she was on the correct HRT would be normally in the low range for a female, which if you don’t know, females range from 30 – 300 normally, males about 300 – 900 normally.
Second, and the most disturbing point is these comments which exceed by many orders of magnitude, the ignorance and hatred rogan spewed. Jackasses who insist on calling her He or Him. The nicest way to describe that petty crap is to say you sound like 12 year olds. Scratch that, because a 12 year old can be educated and lead from the darkness of ignorance and stupidity, (Those two things are vastly different.) Most of the commenters here cannot. You’re just brain dead morons who think they matter, and speak and form opinions about things that haven’t the slightest clue about.

    • Cis gendered? LOOK OUT, WE GOT A TRIGGERED GENDER STUDIES MAJOR OVER HERE!Grow up, sure there may be one women in a thousand men that have such amazing physical, giving them the the anilkty to compete wih her male counterparts, but how can a sport build rules off of a 1 in 1000 (being genorous) oddity? On the whole people born as genetic men have a predisposition to have high bone density, broader shoulders etc. (Along wih numerous other examples joe made)than women. FACT Grow up april, or do you need a safe space?

  23. Archibald Cox says:

“Fallon Fox”, or whatever this dude calls himself, is a sick psycho. The MAIN reason he changed his sex is that he HATES women and needed an opportunity and excuse to beat up women.
Some woman EMASCULATED him and he has been on a campaign to get EVEN. Like Mitrione said, this guy is a SICK individual. Dana White should marry him and make him happy LOL !

  24. steve g says:

why are so many people commenting on this as if it were a battle between sexes?? this is about a man becoming a woman then wanting to fight women!! you ditzy broads need to realize that fallon is EXPLOITING WOMEN with these actions! you should be MORE offended than the MEN! quit riding the girl-power train and get off in realityville!

  25. nobody nowhere says:

I don’t follow extreme martial arts (if that’s what it’s still called, I dunno), and I didn’t read through everyone’s comments. The only point I wish to bring up is informed consent. Were the genetic women this person fought told that they were fighting a post-op transgendered woman? If they were, and still agreed to fight then I say have at it sister. You do what ever you think you need to do to make your life complete. If they were not then I believe there is an element of deception whether intentional or not that needs to be addressed. I don’t want to get into genetics, hormones, and everything else. I wouldn’t care if a woman want to fight an still intact male if she fully consented knowing the possible outcome before hand, that’s her choice. I think Rogan is mostly respectful of her(the transgendered person in this story) lifestyle choice, I only digress in the issue of informed consent. If they are clearly presented all the facts ahead of time and are in a sound state of mind to make an informed decision, then win or lose they knew what they were getting into.

I’m a lesbian that happens to be masculine and very confused about the whole sex change thing,if your gay just be gay why insult God. Anywho I agree with rogan, dude if you truely identify as a woman then why are you even interested in fighting? Go bake something. I have tranny family members male to female and they are soft sexy bitches that do not have time to mess up their weave and make up… P.s MMA is the ultimate ish!!!!!

You bunch of fucking morons think feelings are more important than facts… FUCK YOU. If you were born a man, you’re a fucking man. There are only two fucking genders. Go fuck yourself
