Fan friendly? In what way?
Better fights? Doubt it.

Better sight lines?
Not even close.
It doesnt matter for TV but for those at the event, you have a lot of dead spots with the colums, some fences are hard to see through if the angle isnt head on, etc…

So i fail to see how its more fan friendly.

If this is part of their partnership with Strikeforce, then once a year shouldnt be a problem.

I have HUGE problem with 3×5mins rounds.
It changes the fights even more than the cage and its gonna be great for guys that get gassed early like Manhoef.

Wow. Awesome video. I wonder if this will lead to Fedor vs Overeem in Japan for the SF belt. They could tape delay it and put it on TV in the States later that night, like the old PRIDE fights. CBS & Showtime both tape delay the fights to the West coast, who what’s a few more hours?

I haven’t been very impressed with Dream or Sengoku to this point. Hopefully one or both improves going forward. I like the idea of a white cage. I think it will look great on TV. I like a cage on TV but prefer a ring live.
