  1. 45 Huddle says:

Why is the Rosholt fight being televised? We already know that division is leaving the WEC. That TV slot should be there for McCullough/Cerrone or Yahya/Maeda.

  2. Ivan Trembow says:

I was just about to say the same thing. I really hope that Maeda vs. Yahya airs, but with the push to have the broadcast end before TUF starts at 10:00 PM Eastern, I don’t know if it will.

  3. Pontus says:

Yeah those two fights plus the main card are all great. Lets hope for some prelim action on the broadcast. I’m really happy that Versus are going for more televised cards next year.

  4. Zack says:

They would be better off editing off the entrances and showing six fights. Of course Maeda/Yahya needs to show, but I’d rather see Aldo than Razor.

  5. David says:

I love Yahya, his personality is great… I wanna see Yahya!!!

  6. IceMuncher says:

Osterneck and Rosholt are two highly touted prospects, but I’m in agreement with the comments above, I’d much rather see Maeda and Yahya. Hopefully the two title fights end early, so they can squeeze it in at the end of the broadcast.

  7. 45 Huddle says:

Paulo Filho came in 7 pounds over.

Mike Brown came in 1/2 pounds over.

Ranyi Yahya came in 1 pound over, but Maeda is fighting him without forcing him to cut one more pound.

It’s not like Filho is a tall Middleweight. Just unbeleviable.

  8. [...] noted when we posted the WEC 11/5 card line-up, Paulo Filho and Chael Sonnen were going to have a good old-fashioned grudge re-match. A title belt [...]
