  1. 45 huddle says:

The only interesting fights are the MW GP and the Cro Cop fight. Everything else I could pass on.

  2. IceMuncher says:

Some pretty good fights, some one-sided beatdowns, and a freakshow. Standard high-level Japanese MMA card.

It bothers me a little that Aoki is fighting a guy that lost his last 2 fights, Mach is fighting a UFC dropout that lost to Goulet, and Akiyama is fighting a 1-1 newcomer. These guys should not be fighting scrubs, at the very least give them a promising up and comer who’s on somewhat of a winning streak.

It’s frustrating at times to follow Japanese MMA.

  3. Rollo the Cat says:

So what fight is the one that is most interesting to the casual Japanese fan?

  4. Jeremy (not that Jeremy) says:

I can see at least four fights that probably have decent name value in Japan, and my impression has generally been that their fans are more interested in having one “name brand” fighter than in having anything resembling a competitive fight…

I wish HDNet and Comcast had buried the hatchet earlier so that I could be watching this. The last Dream event was good enough to be worth watching, Bas Rutten not withstanding.

  5. Garret says:

I really hope FEG keep DREAM going, they’ve put on some of the best cards this year. Plus they’re existence is crucial to the longevity of Japanese MMA.

  6. David says:

Dunno about yall but I love the fact that Japanese are starting to get more top level grapplers converted into MMA fighters!

Jacare is a great athlete and JJ practitioner so I can’t wait to see his fight!

Well then, that’s 4 good fights that you want to see. Sounds like a pretty good card to me.

Mighty Mo vs Sergei should be a banger. We’ll see if Sergei fights smart and just takes it down or if he wants to throw.

  8. Sukkibara says:

hmmm, Dream couldnt pull anything out of the hat for their last show

looks like theyll die with a whimper, like Pride

  9. Rollo the Cat says:

    Sergie v Mo is off?!

  10. zack says:

    Go troll somewhere else, nerd.
