I think his real passion is boxing. MMA is just something he happened to get into.

I understand going after your passion is probably a good thing, but I just don’t see him being a top level boxer. He at least has a long shot of being top tier in MMA.

Well, it was dumb to sign a fighter to their president as opposed to the company. That is just how dumb PE is.

Indeed. Whenever somebody tries to do something better than Dana, the more it makes Dana look like a genius. Aside from bashing fighters outside his promotion, everything Dana’s said has been prophetic.

Another reason why EliteXC will fail. Not understanding the ability to properly excute a contract with a fighter. People give Dana a bunch of sh@# because of his exlusive, strict contracts; however in the whole scheme of running a succesful brand with staying power, he’s right on.

Well, if he is under a contract to Gary Shaw, I’m sure Shaw will take him to where the money is. Seeing as though ProElite actually owe Shaw money right now, I’m sure he will see more dollar signs in Noons boxing than in MMA. Even if Noons fights on an undercard he’ll still make more money than an EliteXC main event.
