If Gus Johnson on board means no Bill Goldberg then I'm all for it.

Gus Johnson has been announced as the play by play announcer for Elite XC on CBS, with Frank Shamrock as analyst and Ranallo as being the third man in the booth on color. Showtime Boxing's backstage analyst Karyn Bryant will be working behind the scenes. Clearly, the UFC was right, I mean, god forbid a veteran and respected broadcaster anchor an MMA telecast. That would just be ruinous.

UFC had nothing to do with the Silva cancellation. The allegation is that Silva merely no-showed just so he can host his own party at Miami, where he and Big Nog opened their own gym.

Barnett vs. Monson was exactly that, and it looked as if their own familiarity with one another was a big factor in this one. Barnett did more, but it was mostly a hugging match.

Roger was enormous compared to Kondo, and it was no doubt a big factor in Kondo being crushed.

I just watched the majority of the Sengoku II card, and realized I really didn't care about the majority of the fights.

Roger Gracie is an interesting prospect, but he was noticably 2 weight classes bigger then Yuki Kondo.

Santiago really is starting to get some steam but needs to be fighting up a level now, instead of the Yuki Sasaki's of the world.

I haven't seen Barnett/Monson yet, but I have a feeling it might look like a sparing match. Hopefully I'm wrong.
