This UFC has a great main event, but the supporting fights aren’t so hot. Lutter VS Franklin would be a marquee fight if only these two had a chance in hell of beating Anderson Silva. I really like Franklin, so it’s really sad how outclassed he was by Silva. Since they don’t, it’s a rather pointless match considering the result has no consequence on the middleweight division whatsoever.

Then again, my FTA box is working again, and with a bunch of friends and alcohol (a great friend indeed!), it should be a fun night!

I’ve been on this card FOREVER about this!

Gotta give credit to the UFC for recognizing they can penetrate the Canadian market basically on the back of GSP’s name and being the “UFC’s debut”. The rest of the card is crap and there’s really not one exciting fight – they’re giving us a bunch of fights that should be on UFN and telling us its a great PPV.

I’m in no way excited for this card other than GSP smashing Serra and seeing the Bell Centre crowd, but hats off to the UFC b/c its coming off as being a “huge event”.

45 — that is how I’ve felt about most UFC cards for a while now. There really isn’t much really exciting me on that card. It feels like the more cards they have, the less enticing they are as they have to spread their big names out. I’m kind of expecting to see a PPV headlined by Kenny Florian sometime soon.

Anybody else not really excited about this card? I just want to see GSP win, and the rest of the card is just average. Lots of great names on the card, just no good match-ups.

The next UFC in May is going to be awesome on paper, but this one is kind of bland.
