Cindy Ortiz has posted, on the MMAWeekly Forum, that Sherk has been stripped of the title.

Cindy has always been reliable in the past.

Until I read an official statement, I am going to withold any sort of judgement.

So the story says there’s no need now for the interim belt, but doesn’t confirm that the fight will now not be for an interim title. Anyone got contfirmation? I’m officially über p*ssed off if Stevenson – Penn is reduced to three rounds ON TOP of Sherk keeping the strap. That’s a double load of crap in the face right there.

I’m all about the constant steroid and yakuza discussion…but K-1 is having their biggest show of the year in less than 24 hours. Why isn’t there additional reporting and discussion about that?

And isn’t there a UFC show this weekend, as well as Mayweather vs. Hatton?
