Sadly I think they are underestimating Big Tim.

  2. October 17th, 2007 at 3:40 pm MMA Game Says:

If you’re going to post the odds you might as well get an affiliate account and maybe earn a few pennies. I wouldn’t go with bodog if you’re going to do that though… I haven’t got a single signup to them in the time I’ve got up to 15 to other betting companies.

  3. October 17th, 2007 at 4:11 pm Rollo the Cat Says:

Red is a good bet over Bonnar. He was hurt for the Bisping fight and was only training part time anyway. He is recovered and a full time fighter now. I like his chances at +250.

  4. October 17th, 2007 at 5:08 pm Big Steve Says:

Big Tim is always a good bet, but I think Vera has the talent to win.

  5. October 17th, 2007 at 5:23 pm Blocker Says:

Whenever I see anything about the Sylvia/Vera fight I immediately think of the Sylvia/ Rodriguez fight…

  6. October 17th, 2007 at 6:39 pm The Gaijin Says:

Sadly, I gotta agree here. As talented as Vera is…I can see Big Tim using his reach and ridiculous size advantage to dictate a boring Arlovski-Sylvia III type decision.

Was there ever any truth to that rumor that the UFC wouldn’t “let” Vera cut down to 205 b/c they want him at HW, regardless of the fact that he could easily make and belongs at LHW?

  7. October 18th, 2007 at 3:56 am MMA Game Says:

Vera will win - he’s more active than the other fighters that Sylvia has “out-reached”.

  8. October 18th, 2007 at 6:05 am Ultimo Santa Says:

Vera/Tim could be interesting…it’s tough to pick a winner in that one.

My only thought is that if Randy could bob and weave and basically outstrike Tim on several exchanges, couldn’t Vera, who is faster and more polished on his feet than Couture, do the same thing?

PLEASE GOD don’t get Sylvia win. Please.
