If Floyd beats Oscar it likely won't be a classic. Floyd will have to use his running shoes and point fighting to win this one, as he doesn't have the power to hurt Oscar and I don't think he has the durability to mix it up with him.

It should be added that Floyd claims this will be his last fight. Perhaps he's full of it, but considering the size of the fight and his ego it wouldn't be surprising. This will be the biggest fight of Floyd's career and it's doubtful that there will be a bigger fight for him in the future, so any further fight would be superfluous to his legacy and could possibly taint it through losing.

That attendance is a crock. They did not even get 1000, let alone 7,000 which would be a near sellout in that building.

Boxing not only needs a classic, but they need Mayweather to win. Even then, the sport will never be taken seriously with it’s current problems.

Why do they need Mayweather to win? He'll never be a real drawing card even if he beats Oscar because his personality is too gritty and doesn't show the promo abilities of Ali or Leonard or the have the real "Pretty Boy" presence of De La Hoya. And, in addition, he's not the explosive fighter in the ring of an Arturo Gatti or Manny Pacquiao. As I've said before, he's in the same pack as Bernard Hopkins and 'Winky' Wright: guys with talent but only get the top fights because they've forced themselves to the top by beating the top fighters of the divisions they've been in rather than any actual drawing credentials. By themselves, they're meh draws at best.

Yes, that is coming soon. Jeff was ill last week, so I decided it would better to postpone than to rush an audio show on the site.
