It seems to me that Rutten got caught...and that he is spinning alot of stuff to cover it up. I cannot for the life of me understand why the CSAC would do what Bas is claiming?

Yakuza money is good for underpayed fighters. Today I finished my full body tattoo to run a kareoke racket in nagoya. Apparently Sakuraba is Yakuza but he wears a body suit to hide the swee tats. Small joint manipulation is illegal in Pride because Takada wants the fingers to still be around to cut them off if ever he needs to. Mr I is actually Yuji Shimada.

This is the inside scoop. UFC will fail in one year. This is super good for mma.

I agree with you Zack. While I do not encourage it, all monies donated to the cause of exciting MMA events should be welcome. It is not for us to decide whether this is good or bad. I cannot speak for other fans, but I myself want the best matchups, the best rules no matter who is throwing the party.

Hey guys lets make this clear. The athletic commission is completely misguided on what mma is. I feel they view it as a another boxing regime, so they are playing by boxing rules. We all know what Royce did to the boxer in UFC 1 (1 glove, 1 fist!) so I'm hoping the CA Athletic Commission will get its act together quickly. They are a business, so I dont expect them to stop. My overall conern is that they will run the thing into the ground because they mucked up boxing pretty good already.

Marijuanna is a light hallucinagen that does slow you down and calms you out. Relaxing the muscles could be something fighters are interested in, especially after knocking their bones after a match. In California, medicinal herb is ok with a card, and you can buy as much as you want.

It just sounds like to me that there is still too much old guard sitting on the commission. Time to go home boys, take a cold shower and call it a day. MMA is here to stay.

Call your buddies in NY and tell them we want Fedor - Cro-Cop in Madison Square Garden. On New Years Fucking Eve! Bodog has already done the advertising for you by putting up Fedor Lindland posters all over Manhattan -- so UFC if you are listening -- lets buck up and show that you can put on a truly premiere event.

Now with Yakuza money I believe you can pull this off.

Banzaii!!!!!

So Bas isn't actually denying the positive testing for anything except the morphine and Benadryl?

It sounds interesting how they knew he was doing some of it in front of them and then call him out after the show is over, but it also sounds like the meat of Ruttens argument is:

I didn't know they tested for these -> I took 'em -> I'm unhappy I got caught

The fact they aren't performance enhancing, and that the commission was in his dressing room aren't really justifying getting caught out.
