Fight Opinion Radio: Episode 25 (Interview with Brian Ebersole)

By Zach Arnold | September 21, 2006

Print Friendly and PDF

Despite having a slow news week for MMA content, Fight Opinion Radio is back with another interesting show that we anticipate you will enjoy listening to. This week, our feature guest is fighter Brian Ebersole, who recently gained attention for being accused by the California State Athletic Commission for fixing a fight with perennial MMA jobber Shannon Ritch. In this exclusive interview, hear Brian’s thoughts on being suspended, how it’s impacting his IFL career, what his game plan is for dealing with the CSAC, and what his future plans are.

Also on this week’s show, we highlight some of the other major stories in MMA (Kurt Angle training for future MMA fights, the BoDog-Strikeforce alliance, and Phil Baroni maybe not working the PRIDE 10/21 Las Vegas show). In addition, we break down the PRIDE LV card and whether or not it’s a good card for business. Plus, Jeff Thaler talks about the war of words between the New Jersey State Athletic Commission and UFC (along with other fighter-related topics).

The 25th edition of Fight Opinion Radio is now online and available to download. Here are your options for listening to the show:

Broadband (MP3) | Dial-up/Streaming

More information on listening to this show (if you click the full-post view).

We definitely are interested in new sponsors. We are also interested in getting audio clips from each of you (and here are more details on how you can contribute).

Or you can use the great flash player to listen to it streaming (without having to use an external program). Check it out (down below).

That was bullshit they did to Brian!

Any way we can show support to Brian, Zach?

    nice episode guys 🙂

im just watching the Bodog Fight (thanks for the heads up!) After the first 3 minutes all i can say is WOW – this is the funniest load of over-excitable, Americanized, overly-staged shite i’ve ever seen in my life 😀 Soooooo funny 🙂

  3. […] For those of you who don’t recall the story regarding Armando Garcia and the California State Athletic Commission suspending fighter Brian Ebersole for “fixing” his match against MMA jobber Shannon Ritch, you can read about it (here and here) or you can hear our radio show from last week that featured an interview with Mr. Ebersole.
