Fight Opinion Radio: Episode 3

- Adam Summers & Mike Sempervive do a quick review of the Ultimate Fight Night 3 event. Who came out as the MVP of the show? Who came off as a joke? Adam & Mike break down the action and try to project where the major winners (Leben & Bonnar) go from this point forward.
- Adam, Mike, and Zach Arnold debate the matchmaking of Royce Gracie vs. Matt Hughes in Las Vegas for May. Did booking this match screw up the booking for the Welterweight division? Where does this place Georges St. Pierre and BJ Penn? What would happen if Royce won and Hughes lost? We analyze all the possible scenarios and also debate whether or not this fight should have taken place in Anaheim (at Arrowhead Pond) instead of in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Adam, Mike, and Zach discuss the 2006 PRIDE Open-Weight GP tournament. Should we support this format? Is elimination weight classes a bad idea? Would you want to see Fedor vs. Gomi? We take a look at what fights might draw money and what the likely outcomes would be. Does the open-weight format create more mega-money matchmaking options for Sakakibara?
